Roseville is really two housing stocks stitched together. Old Town and the neighborhoods around Vernon Street date back to the early 1900s, when Roseville was a rail town, and those homes have been through at least one full plumbing life cycle already: original galvanized or even lead-era fittings mostly replaced, but not always replaced well. Then there's everything built from the 1990s onward, the Woodcreek Oaks and Stanford Ranch-era subdivisions, which run copper or PEX from the start.
The newer stock rarely calls us for supply-line failure, but builder-grade water heaters and standard-depth sewer laterals still fail on a predictable schedule, and tankless conversions are common as those tank units age out. In the older core, we still find galvanized runs and clay laterals doing exactly what they did in Fair Oaks and Orangevale, just a bit newer on average.

A slow kitchen drain in a home built in 1918 turned out to be decades of accumulated grease in a section of original cast iron. We cleared it and flagged the section for the homeowner to keep an eye on, since cast iron this old is worth monitoring even when it's not yet failing.
