DHS Plumbing · About

We got tired of fixing other people's shortcuts.

The Quality & Integrity You Expect

The people who pull into your driveway own this company, live in these neighborhoods, and quote the whole fix instead of the cheapest patch.

We started DHS Plumbing because we kept getting called out to fix work someone else had rushed. A water heater sized for a smaller house. A drain snaked four times when a camera would have found the root in ten minutes. A repipe closed up behind drywall that nobody had bothered to inspect.

None of that is a skill problem. It is a priorities problem. So we built the company around a different set of them: look before you quote, explain what you found, pull the permit, and do the version of the job you would want done at your own house.

We specialize in tankless water heaters because they are unforgiving. Gas line sizing, venting, condensate, and a descaling schedule that Sacramento's hard water makes non-negotiable. Get those right and the unit lasts twenty years. Get them wrong and the homeowner finds out in year three. We would rather be the company that got it right.

We work across Sacramento, Placer, and El Dorado counties, and we live here too.

The standard we hold.

Three practices we do not bend on, because bending them is how the work we get called to repair got made in the first place.

We quote the whole fix, not the cheap patch.

When a drain has backed up more than once, snaking it again treats the symptom. We put a camera in the line, find the root or the offset joint or the belly, and quote the repair that ends the problem. Sometimes the honest answer is that the cheaper fix will hold, and we say so plainly.

We explain the system before we sell anything.

You get to watch the screen with us. We show you what we found, walk through why it happened, and give you the number in writing before anything starts. That includes the range on whatever we cannot be certain of until a wall is open.

We pull permits.

On sewer replacements, repipes, and water heater installs we pull the permit and get the work inspected. It protects your home's record and it matters at resale. Sacramento, Placer, and El Dorado each run their own building department, so we handle whichever one your house falls under.

Who you'll meet.

Every technician who pulls into your driveway lives within thirty miles of it.
