El Dorado Hills is unincorporated El Dorado County, and most of the housing dates from the 1980s onward, with a lot of growth in the Serrano community and along the Highway 50 corridor happening from the late 1990s through the 2010s. That means copper and PEX supply lines are standard, and the plumbing issues we see trend toward what shows up in any newer-construction area: builder-grade water heaters reaching end of life, and pressure or sizing issues rather than pipe-material failure.
The terrain here is hillier than most of our other service areas, which occasionally means longer or more complex sewer lateral runs on sloped lots, and pressure-regulation needs that a flatter subdivision wouldn't have. We size jobs with that terrain in mind rather than assuming a standard flat-lot layout.

Tankless install · a Serrano-area two-story
A tank installed at construction in the early 2000s was showing early signs of sediment buildup and slower recovery. Rather than wait for a failure, the homeowner opted for a proactive tankless conversion, sized for the household's actual peak demand. Tankless installs are quoted in writing after a free estimate.
Water pressure diagnosis · a hillside property
House-wide pressure loss had the homeowner worried about a slab leak. Testing showed the pressure regulator itself had failed, a common issue on hillside properties with higher static pressure from the elevation change. A regulator swap solved it without any excavation.
Camera inspection · a home near the Town Center
Ahead of a kitchen remodel, the homeowner wanted the sewer line checked before committing to new flooring over it. The camera confirmed a clean, sound line with no work needed, worth knowing before construction started rather than after.
