01Cookieless by default
Our analytics are cookieless. We use a privacy-first tool in the style of Plausible or Fathom that counts visits in aggregate without cookies, without following you across other websites, and without building a profile of you. We do not run advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
02What that means in practice
- No advertising cookies, and no retargeting you around the web after you leave.
- No cross-site tracking, and no selling or sharing of your browsing for ads.
- Analytics are aggregate numbers, such as how many people viewed a page, not a record tied to you.
03Local storage we do use
The site uses one small item of browser local storage, and only when you act. It is strictly for the experience, never for tracking.
That is the entire list. We do not store a login, a theme setting, or your progress through the booking form on your device.
04Why there is no consent banner
Consent banners exist to ask permission for non-essential cookies, mostly for advertising. Because we do not set those, there is nothing to ask, and a banner would only be friction.
If we ever add a heavier analytics tool such as Google Analytics 4, or any tool that sets non-essential cookies, we will add a consent banner at that time. It will default to declining non-essential cookies, and the reject option will be exactly as prominent as the accept option. Nothing that needs consent will load before you give it.
05Third-party requests
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. That makes a request to Google's servers to fetch the fonts, but it does not set cookies on your device. Pages that show photographs may load those images from an image host, which likewise serves a file without setting a tracking cookie here.
If we ever embed a third-party tool that does set its own cookies, such as an outside booking widget, we will say so here and handle consent as described above.
06How to control storage
You are always in control of storage in your own browser. You can:
- Clear site data for this site, which removes the one local-storage item described above.
- Block or limit cookies and site storage in your browser settings.
- Use private or incognito browsing, which discards site storage when you close the window.
Clearing storage will simply mean the chat greeting can appear again on your next visit. Nothing else on the site depends on it.
07Changes to this policy
If our use of cookies or local storage changes, we will update this page and change the date at the top. A change that introduces consent-required cookies will be announced plainly, not buried.
08How to reach us
Questions about cookies or storage, or how this relates to your data, are covered in the Privacy Policy. You can also reach us directly.
